We have been caring for older babies and preschoolers since 2004, and now have the capacity to care for up to 180 children across our three branches in Hampstead Garden Suburb, Belsize Park and Holland Park, with a new branch at Wimbledon now taking registrations.
Our branches have consistently achieved Ofsted outstanding status.
We pride ourselves on our family-style care, and home away from home warmth and nurturing, as well as a cosmopolitan outlook. Languages are a big focus, with a different language taught each month (including Portuguese, Spanish and Russian amongst recent examples). Bilingual children with English as a second language are well catered for in special small circles to enhance their language skills.
All branches are Forest School accredited, with the strong belief that time outside, independence and creativity are key for happy children. Visiting teachers include dance, movement, and yoga, with extra classes in woodwork and cookery available in some branches. Please enquire for further information.
We believe that children feel secure when they are able to make sense of their surroundings, so our indoor and outdoor areas have been designed to provide the ideal environment in which children can develop and thrive. Our outdoor environments have been specifically developed to encourage children’s social, emotional and physical development by helping them to understand nature and the world around them. Our carefully planned indoor setting features distinct areas for role play, language, and literacy, problem-solving, sensory discovery and creativity.
Within these areas, children are able to embark upon self-discovery, participate in planned activities and create their own pursuits from carefully selected stimuli, all of which feeds into the six areas of learning and development set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, as outlined in our curriculum page.
